I visited The Clothes Show last weekend for the first time ever. For those who have never been, it’s basically a huge fashion and beauty shopping event based at the N.E.C in Birmingham every year. There’s a runway show, fashion seminars and celebrity interviews.
It was so fun walking around the stalls and recognising brands that are always popping up on my Instagram as well as meeting Sarah Ashcroft who is absolute blogger goals! She was so lovely and had time for everyone, complimenting outfits and taking selfies.
We were lucky to get front row seats for Q&A with Sarah, Billie Faiers and Binky Felstead who all shared their outfit details and favourite beauty tips.
If you love to grab a bargain and don’t mind nearly being trampled on by crowds of girls swooning over Joey Essex, then this place is for you. From massage parlours to teeth whitening pods to hair stylists, you will not go without. My best buy of the day was from the pretty Spectrum Collections stall where I treated myself to the 12 piece bomb shell set & oyster roll for £49.99. RRP £79.99!
There are various time slots for the main runway show but choosing the last one at 4:15pm gave us time to eat, shop and meet/greet everyone we wanted, saving the best thing until last. I can’t get over how good the show was and it was hosted by Mark Wright so that was a bonus.
Fashion presenter Mark Heyes put together a short cat walk of high street Winter trends starring Topshop & Boohoo. This was so glitzy and gave me plenty of inspo for the festive period coming up. The models were glam, making me feel a bit like a potato but the men were HOT. I need to go to more fashion shows because I absolutely loved this one.
Next year The Clothes Show is moving to Liverpool and it will be in July so I’m happy we got to enjoy the last Christmassy event however there is no doubt in my mind that the Summer version will be just as good!
I’m going to end this post with some more photos of the day. Will you be going next year? I’ve heard you can get your tickets already for £20!
